Petrichor, Without the Dirt

The note everyone recognizes after summer rain is petrichor — wet stone and cut grass. This scent goes after that without the soil: green grass and rice flower open it cool and slightly powdery, blue lotus and lily keep the middle watery, and white amber with a musky citrus finish holds it in the air. Nothing in it is sweet.

It is a floral for people who say they don’t like florals.
