The Scent of a Grand Hotel Lobby

Grand hotel lobbies share a signature: a polished floral opening over warm amber, strong enough to register at the door and soft enough to sit under conversation for hours. Our Hotel Signature oil follows that structure — bergamot and green leaves first, jasmine, orchid and rose through the middle, then vanilla and amber to hold the room.

It is a formal scent. It suits entrance halls, reception areas, dining rooms and any space where you want the room to feel considered rather than casual.

What It Smells Like

• Opening: bergamot lemon and green leaves — bright, clean, slightly crisp
• Heart: jasmine, orchid and rose — layered white florals, full but not sweet
• Dry-down: vanilla and amber — warm, rounded, long-lasting

Best in entryways, living rooms, reception areas and hospitality spaces. In smaller rooms, use a lower setting — this one carries.

Made for Waterless Diffusers

This is a pure fragrance oil, not a water-diluted blend. It is formulated for cold-air (waterless) diffusion, the method used in hotel public areas, so the scent is never diluted by a water tank and leaves no residue on surfaces.

The lowest intensity setting is enough for a bedroom-sized room. At one hour a day, a 100 mL bottle lasts months rather than weeks.

Scenting a Lobby, Not Just a Room

A lobby is a different problem from a living room: the space is larger, the traffic is constant, and the scent has to survive an open door. Three rules work in practice.

• Position at the threshold. Scent should meet people as they enter, not sit in a corner behind the seating.
• Run in intervals. 15 minutes on, 30–45 minutes off keeps the room scented without nose-blindness among staff who are there all day.
• Size the diffuser to the volume, not the floor area. High ceilings and open doors need roughly one step up from the room-area recommendation.

It works, but it is designed for waterless cold-air diffusers, where the scent stays sharper and leaves no residue.

How much oil do I use?

Start on the lowest intensity setting in a bedroom-sized room. In a lobby or open-plan space, use the largest diffuser you have and start at a low duty cycle.

Does it contain alcohol?

No. It is an alcohol-free fragrance oil.

Is it too strong for a bedroom?

Use the lowest setting and a shorter session. This is a formal, full-bodied scent; in small rooms less is more.
