A lobby has to smell the same at 8am and 8pm, through open doors and constant traffic, without ever becoming the thing guests notice first. That is a question of oil concentration, diffuser sizing and duty cycle — not of buying a stronger candle.</p>
<h2>What Is a Hotel Scent Diffuser?</h2>
<p>A hotel scent diffuser is a cold-air (waterless) diffuser paired with a concentrated fragrance oil. Instead of diluting oil in water, it atomises the oil directly into a dry mist, so the scent stays sharp and leaves no residue on walls, fabrics or furniture. It is the method used in hotel lobbies, corridors and suites, and it is why hotel scent smells clean rather than humid.</p>

<p>Our Hotel Signatures range covers the scent families most often associated with hotel lobbies: Ritz-Carlton (warm amber and florals), Park Hyatt (restrained green tea), Kempinski (red apple into fir and vanilla), Pullman (bergamot into amber), Hilton Sea Breeze (coastal greens), Crowne Plaza Orange Blossom (tropical floral), Marina Bay (botanical green), Shangri-La Cedar (spiced citrus over resinous woods) and White Tea (the crisp white-tea profile).</p>
<p>Each is a 100 mL alcohol-free oil made for waterless diffusion: the lowest intensity setting in a bedroom-sized room, months of daily use per bottle.</p>

<p>Size by air volume, not floor area. High ceilings, open doors and hard surfaces all pull scent away faster than a closed room of the same footprint.</p>
<h2>How Hotels Run Scent Without Overpowering a Room</h2>
<p>Three habits do most of the work. Scent the entrance first, so the impression starts at the door. Run in intervals — around 15 minutes on, 30 to 45 minutes off — instead of continuously, which is what causes nose-blindness in staff. And never mix two scents in the same zone.</p>
